Anfahrt

Transfection is the introduction of DNA into eukaryotic cells, such as animal cells. Transfection typically involves opening transient "holes" or gates in cells to allow the entry of extracellular molecules, typically supercoiled plasmid DNA, but also siRNA, among others. Transfection differs from transformation since the DNA is not generally incorporated into the cell's genome, it is only transiently expressed.

General Transfection Kit

Code No.DescriptionUnit
TF-001Transfection Solutionkit

Transfection reagents differ considerably in transfection efficiency. Most reagents transfer DNA inefficiently as cells only take up particles of a specific size. In addition, most reagents cannot sufficiently protect the DNA-complex against endonuclease degradation. Our innovated carrier molecules allow the DNA-complexes to be taken up more efficiently, thus increasing the transfection rate.

Features and Benefits

  • Easy to use
  • Transfection in the presence or absence of serum
  • Effective for stable and transient transfection
  • High transfection rates
  • Tested on primary, adherent- and suspension cells
  • Non-toxic Stable for 12 months
  • Ready to use kit containing Normae’s Diluent

Cell Line-Specific Transfection Kits

Preoptimized transfection kits enable efficient delivery of siRNA, plasmid DNA, mRNA, and microRNA into broad range of cell types and primary cells. Advanced formulation of polymer, lipid, and dendrimer-based reagents supported by peculiar design of the transfection protocols.
